Scoop, which facilitates carpooling for commuters, announced a layoff on Wednesday (see below link for list of affected employees👇). With offices closed across the country, Scoop is currently operating at a “fraction” of its normal volume. The company joins other transportation startups like Zipcar, Turo, Getaround, and HopSkipDrive to reduce staff.
